Last Tuesday we should have been presenting our Dealing with Cross-Border Estates Seminar at Birmingham University of Law.
It was a shame we had to cancel this as we were looking forward to catching up with new and existing contacts. This will be rearranged when it’s possible to do so, as will similar events at other locations- details will be posted on LinkedIn as soon as they are available.
We are also currently working on delivering some webinars covering similar topics in conjunction with various regional Law Societies and we will keep you updated about those.
In the meantime, if you are also in the ‘working from home club’ and have any time to brush up on your professional development (in between anything else you might be juggling!), you might find some of our articles helpful. Here’s a selection of light reading to keep you going…
Dealing with an estate with assets abroad
What is a matrimonial property regime and why do I need to know about them?
Assets or Beneficiaries abroad? Why Probate Lawyers Should Consider Currency Exchange
Need an affidavit from a foreign lawyer?

There’s plenty more on our blog page too. Check it out here!
If you do have any files with foreign assets, foreign beneficiaries or you need any advice or help on anything overseas – please get in touch on 01244 470 339 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Take care, stay safe and keep smiling!
